Stephanie is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) with over 10 years experience. She has worked with a range of companies, organisations and entrepreneurs, providing operational, financial and strategic advice, including The Royal National Theatre, Shelter and Korean sculptor and visual artist Do Ho Suh. She is passionate about business strategy and uses the story behind the numbers to shape and inform business planning.

With her entrepreneurial mindset and creative thinking, Stephanie has ran numerous workshops and seminars for Creatives, Sole Traders and Arts organisations, on subjects including financial modelling, analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

THE ASCEND ACTORS GROUP

Stephanie founded this company in 2014 in order to provide actors with opportunities to work with and learn from established Creatives beyond their current reach.

The Ascend Actors Group is an actors company that aims to holistically support professional and aspiring actors through workshops with the leading Casting Directors, Screen Directors and Theatre Directors. The Creatives we have worked with include Lewis Arnold (Director; Humans, Broadchurch, Cleaning Up), Steve Finn (Director; Eastenders), Jermain Julien (Director; Holby City, Casualty, Death in Paradise), Jo McInnes (Director; Royal Court, Soho Theatre, National Theatre), Zoe Ford (Lehman Triliogy, Royal National Theatre), Louis Hammond CDG (Casting Director; Royal Court, Young Vic) and Christiana Ebohon-Green (Director; Call The Midwife, Father Brown).

THE ASCEND COLLECTIVE CIC

Founded by Stephanie 2021, The Ascend Collective CIC is a registered community interest company that focuses on elevating the underrepresented within the Arts. Their first project, Elevate Writers Room, was produced in partnership with, and funded by the Independent Film Trust.

Sylvia Paul is a brand that aims to celebrate, unite and empower those from Africa, its diaspora and beyond. It aspires to be the go to place for carefully curated African and Caribbean authentic and inspired retail, events and more; for the diaspora and beyond.

The brand has big dreams but we are starting small, with an empowering podcast series that focuses on entrepreneurship; From Side Hustle to Main Hustle.
